May 8 Starbucks on
Broadway in Bangor is hosting a Benefit Spaghetti Dinner
on Thursday,
May 8 from 5:30-8pm at The Lion's Den, located at
Penobscot Job Corps Center in Bangor (1375 Union St).
This fundraiser is for Heidi, a Starbucks employee who
is going to Scotland on a year long Missions trip. This
dinner includes spaghetti, salad and roll. Tickets are
$7 and can be purchased at Starbucks; by calling

Nokomis Key club is having the Krazy Keyclub
Karnival at the Newport Elementary School on May 10th
from 10:00am-4:00pm. This fun event benefits a
scholarship fund for children in Kenya, the March of
Dimes, Somerset Humane Society, Newport Community Food
Bank and many other great organizations. To make a

First Step Pregnancy Resource Center's Annual Walk for
Life,
is happening Saturday, May 10th. Join a group
in Bangor at 263 State Street or in Ellsworth at 75
State Street; registration begins at 9:00 am and the
walk begins at 9:45am for both locations. First Prize (i-pod)
will be awarded to the teen (under 18) with the most
pledge money raised. To participate and receive
sponsorship forms or to get more information, please

June 14 Apologetix will be performing at the First
Baptist Church in Waldoboro on June 14 at 7:00pm.
