Ideas we've heard so far ...Heifer International - By purchasing a farm animal for a family in an impoverished country you can provide a steady source of income for them, allowing them the funds to purchase food.
Manna Ministries - A Bangor based organization that reaches our to those in need. Secret Basket Drop - One family spends the week before Christmas collecting a basket of canned goods and baking treats for families in their church who need help. They drop the baskets off at the front door, knock and then run away and hide! |
