Now-July 28: Baptist Park "Sunday Evening Worship Services" Join Baptist Park every Sunday for worship services every Sunday until July 28 right at Baptist Park located at 60 Park Rd. in Mapleton. The schedule is as follows: July 7th, 14th & 28th 5:30 pm refreshments & fellowship, worship begins at 6:00 PM. July 21st 3:00 PM concert featuring local musicians, 4:45 PM banquet buffet & 6:00 PM worship.
July 27: GOD Chapter’s Annual Christmas in July - A ride for the O.C.C. (Operation Christmas Child). DONATION BASED RIDE!
Bring your bike and come on down to Hancock County. This year we will be sharing with you all a bit about Operation Christmas Child. You will hear from local and regional leaders as well as GOD Chapter’s President a bit about how this program has impacted children and adults near and far. We will then take a FREE WILL OFFERING. Ride will leave from Christian Ridge Church 10:30 am and travel South on US Route One, then turning on Route 46 where we will continue to Route 9, then proceed to Route 179 which will bring us back to Ellsworth and we will end back at Christian Ridge Church. July 27: Rock Church, Old Town Campus, invites you to a Mission’s Breakfast event with keynote speaker: Dr. Chris Gnanakan, on Saturday, July 27 from 8am to 10am. Dr. Gnanakan is a Professor of Theology and Global Studies at Liberty University and is also the Director of Leadership Development for Christar International. Rock Church Old Town Campus is located at 240 Main Street, Old Town.

The Christian Civic League of Maine & ministry partners have come together for this all-day conference to present & engage Christians & churches. August 3: Brick Church on Union St. in Bangor invites everyone to their BBQ on Saturday, August 3 at 12 Noon. They'll be serving up burgers and hotdogs and will have plenty of water on hand.
August 10-11: Gigantic Yard Sale to benefit Sarah's House at the "Masiello Group Better Holmes and Garden" on Union Street in Bangor. Hours are 8 AM-3 PM on August 10 and 9 AM-12 PM on August 11.
August 11: Calvary Baptist Church, Pittsfield Annual Family Fun Day at Hathorn Park on Somerset Avenue in Pittsfield from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Free games and bounce houses for the youth, free live music (featuring: Not By Works), and free food. All are welcome. Come and enjoy a great day at the park. Church service will be held at the park at 10:00 AM. All are welcome to attend.
August 12-14: VBS: Back 2 Basics! at Appleton Baptist Church: Step back in time with us as we celebrate core Christian beliefs! August 31: Bangor Waterfront's 2nd annual Day of Joy event. The motto remains the same: "Feed the body Feed the soul." Our mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ. You can enjoy a free breakfast, free barbecue, free haircuts, and clothes. There will also be popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, and the biggest thing we offer is salvation. We also baptize onsite. Many different musicians will be performing along with speakers. Hope to see you at the "Day of Joy" on August 31 at the Bangor Waterfront!
