July 22: Baptist Park's Christian Life Conference (CLC): The 2023 CLC is titled Ambassadors for Christ; Agents of God’s Reconciling Love (2 Corinthians 5:20) and will be held from 8:30 am-3:30 pm. We welcome Randy Newman as the conference speaker. He is the author of award winning Questioning Evangelism. He will be discussing various seminar topics that revolve around evangelism for Christian’s who do not possess the gift of evangelism. There is a $50 registration fee which includes continental breakfast, banquet lunch, refreshments during breaks, and quality evangelism instruction. June 26-30: Machias Valley Baptist Church (located at 8 Broadway) is having Stompers and Chompers Vacation Bible School from 9:00am-11:35am. Children ages 4-12 are welcome. Stompers and Chompers is a dinosaur theme VBS where kids explore our world before the flood, complete with fun-loving characters, lush jungle environments, and dino-sized experiences. Students will learn ageless truths from the faith and failures of some of the first people in the Bible, and they'll discover how they can, by faith, follow God's big plan for them today! July 29: GOD Chapter's 2nd Annual Christmas In July - A ride for the O.C.C. Held at: Christian Ridge Church, 53 Christian Ridge Road, Ellsworth, Maine. A donation based ride! Christmas is for kids, right? Well, bring your bike and come on down to Ellsworth, Maine and be part of our ride for the O.C.C. (Operation Christmas Child). All proceeds benefit the local Hancock County Chapter of the O.C.C.Co-hosted by: THE GOD Chapter & Mrs. Shelly Brann, Local OCC Director for Hancock County.
October 7: GOD CHAPTER'S 3RD ANNUAL FALL FOLIAGE PRAYER RIDE - No Motorcycle Necessary at 6 am. Attendees can come and go as you wish for any part or all of the ride.
From Madawaska, Maine to Kittery, Maine all in the same day. It's about a 450-mile trek with designated prayer stops along the way including at our State Capital in Augusta, Maine.
