Now-November 3: 40 Days for Life a multi-denominational, faith-based effort to promote awareness of the tragic reality of abortion through prayer, fasting, and educational resources. Right here in Bangor, beginning September 25, community and local church members will take one-hour shifts to peacefully pray between 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at the entrance to Evergreen Woods, 700 Mt. Hope Avenue, where northern Maine’s largest abortion business is located. Volunteers who silently pray are equipped with yard signs (e.g., Pray to End Abortion • You don’t have to do this today • We will help you • Ask me about a free ultrasound) and pamphlets for local pregnancy help & post-abortion resources. October 11-12: ‘Godly Girlfriends’ Women’s Conference, Hermon Baptist Church. Guest Speaker: Kristi Stoughton. Friday,

October 12: Discipleship Conference with Dr. Roberts Liardon 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Join The River Church (1184 Highway 102, Bar Harbor) for a day packed with practical teaching on recognizing, following, and accomplishing your God-given call! Doors open at 9am. Event is free, but we ask you to register at www.therivermdi.com. Black Sheep food truck will be on site for lunch. 

October 19: Knights of Columbus Spaghetti Dinner to benefit Greater Bangor Area Street Pastors and other organizations they support at 5 PM. Dinner will be held at St. John's Catholic Church, 217 York Street in Bangor in their fellowship hall. Cost is $12 adults/$6 children.

October 19 New England Bible College & Seminary Disciplemaking Event 
What is the growth progression as a follower of Christ, from pre-conversion to Kingdom multiplier?  How do we help people grow from becoming followers of Jesus to being fruitful disciple-makers for Him? October 26: Calvary Chapel Southern Aroostook Cure Conference Maine has been grappling with a significant Drug and Alcohol Addiction Crisis. November 2: A Snowman Holiday Fair from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at North Brewer Eddington UMC, 31 Main Road, Eddington. Featuring crafts, jellies, pickles, baked goods, fudge, lunch, kids room, RADA knives, pies, quilts, holistic plants, and more. Stop on by and see us. ​

November 2: Homeschoolers of Maine's HOME for the Holidays Craft Fair from 9am to 4pm at the American Legion in Augusta. Come and browse many different vendors as you are getting ready for the holiday season!

November 9: Joyous Angels Christmas Fair 9:00am to 2pm at Second Congregational Church, 607 South Main St., Brewer. Bake Sale-Homemade Goods, Pies, Soups, Casseroles to go. Jams, Jellies, Relish, Mincemeat, Candy and much more. Homemade Crafts, Knits, Scrubbies, Wooden Crafts, Christmas Attic Treasurers. Local Craft Vendors will be joining us. Enjoy a yummy Luncheon of Haddock or Corn Chowder (also available to go).

November 9: New England Bible College & Seminary Disciple making Event Master Evangelism and Disciple making trainer Jim Halstead of Go & Tell Ministries will present a full-day seminar to help ordinary believers become confident in sharing the gospel and making disciples.  Join us on November 9th at Penney Memorial Church in Augusta as New England Bible College and Seminary sponsors this incredible equipping event to help you become more fruitful for Christ.  For more information visit nebc.edu/events.

Ongoing:  Spaghetti Dinner at Lincoln Center Baptist Church - every 4th Thursday of the month. Free Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner with garlic bread, drinks & dessert.  Dinner is served from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.  The church also offers a chairlift for those who need handicap accessibility.
