May 27-28: The Rock Church at 1195 Ohio St in Bangor is hosting an art & crafts fair as well as a Yard Sale. May 27 noon to 6:00pm and Saturday, May 28 9:00am-4:00pm. Proceeds to benefit Operation Christmas Child. Fun, food, & festivities.

June 2, 16, 30: Free food Thursdays! Open to anyone in the community, no income or other requirements. We are open every other Thursday June 2, June 16, June 30th. 1:00-2:00 located at the Love Alliance building in Howland (across from the town office). Come fill up a free bag of groceries for you or a neighbor! 

June 6-9: Aid for Kids, Caring Hands of Maine & UCONN dental school will be hosting Charitable Dental Care Days. The event will be held from Monday, June 6th- Thursday June 9th at Rollerama of Houlton-494 North street in Houlton. Free screenings and basic dental care for those without dental care. June 12: Calvary Temple Assembly of God in East Millinocket will be hosting Dr. Jeff Benjamin on Sunday June 12 during the 10:00 AM Service. Dr. Benjamin is an accredited speaker of Creation Ministries International. This presentation demonstrates how the Gospel message is rooted in the book of Genesis and provides evidence to support the reliability of the Bible's record of origins. If you have questions or interests in the origins of mankind you will not want to miss this event.

July 2: St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Ellsworth: Church Yard Sale benefitting Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry and Families First Community Center. Donations of appropriate or gently used items welcome! July 11: Baptist Park 2022 Christian Life Conference, “Faithful to the End: Equipping the Saints to Serve God in the Culture War,” from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. You’re invited to attend this one-day Christian life conference featuring Carroll Conley, Jr., Executive Director of the Christian Civic League of Maine as the keynote speaker.  Carroll will address the following topics: The Culture War: Frontline or Sideline?, and An Insider’s Look at Movers and Shakers in Maine. Marziyeh Amirizadeh will join us virtually and speak on the topic Christian Persecution Around the World. Registration cost of $35 per person includes continental breakfast and banquet. August 6: St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Ellsworth: Community Event and Open House. We invite our neighbors and friends across the area to come for a day of food, games and fun. September 18: St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Ellsworth: Worship in the Park. All are welcome to join us for worship at Lamoine State Park at 10:30 a.m. (No worship service at St. Andrew that day.) Following worship we will have a barbecue and picnic. Contact the Office at 207-667-7641 FMI.

October 1: St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Ellsworth: Blessing of the Pets. On this weekend celebrating St. Francis of Assisi, St. Andrew invites everyone to bring their furry, feathered or even finned friends to be blessed. Ongoing: Abortion Recovery  Bible Study spring session will begin on April 8 from 6:00 PM-7:30 PM and will continue every Wednesday at First Step Pregnancy Center at 336 Mt. Hope Ave, Suite 8 in Bangor. There's hope in finding forgiveness and healing. Please call 942-1611 to register. Once you register, please pick up your free study from First Step. This study is led by women who understand as they too are post-abortive.

Child Evangelism Fellowship of Central Maine, will meet weekly at the Bangor Church of the Nazarene, 1465 Union Street in Bangor from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. All children ages 6-12 are welcome and encouraged to come, have a fun time, and learn more about Jesus.

Ongoing:  The Serenity Recovery Group is a support group for recovering alcoholics, those who are currently struggling with alcohol addiction or live with  someone who is.  They meet at Crosspoint Church, 1476 Broadway in Bangor Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in Room 8 .  For  more information contact the church office at (207) 947-6576.

Ongoing: Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine Inc. and the Kinship Program is a non-profit organization that partners with DHHS to provide support, training , education, listening support, referrals and materials goods to Resource parents (foster, adoptive, kinship and permanency guardianship provided).  The services are also available to families who are not involved with DHHS.   The organization is located at 34 Main Street, Orono.  More information is available by calling (207) 827-2331, fax (207) 889-6978, or email  info@affm.net or visit their website at affm.net

Ongoing:  Guilford United Methodist Church Food Cupboard is open on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 3:00 PM and is available to anyone needing assistance who lives in Elliotsville, Monson, Willimantic, Blanchard, Abbot, Guilford, Sangerville, Parkman, Wellington or Cambridge.  Food Cupboard is located at 3 School Street in Guilford.

Ongoing:  Partnership Food Pantry- Guilford is open to anyone with unmet food needs.  They operate the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from noon until 3:00 PM, and as needed on an emergency basis.  They are located at 84 Elm Street in Guilford, ME and may be reached by phone at (207) 518-8833. mainepartnership.org 

Ongoing:  Spaghetti Dinner at Lincoln Center Baptist Church - every 4th Thursday of the month. Free Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner with garlic bread, drinks & dessert.  Dinner is served from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.  The church also offers a chairlift for those who need handicap accessibility.  

Ongoing:  Partnership Food Pantry- Greenville is open to anyone with unmet food needs.  They operate the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 11:00 AM to noon, and as needed on an emergency basis.  They are located behind the fire station on Minden Street in Greenville and may be reached by phone at (207) 518-8833.  mainepartnership.org

Ongoing:  Momentum Student Ministries at The Rock Church, Ohio Street, Bangor.  A monthly gathering of local youth in the greater Bangor area.  Live music, food, prizes and a message from a local Youth Pastor.  Always the 1st Wednesday of every month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. #momentuminbangor or facebook.com/TrcYouth.
