Now-November 3: 40 Days for Life a multi-denominational, faith-based effort to promote awareness of the tragic reality of abortion through prayer, fasting, and educational resources. Right here in Bangor, beginning September 25, community and local church members will take one-hour shifts to peacefully pray between 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at the entrance to Evergreen Woods, 700 Mt. Hope Avenue, where northern Maine’s largest abortion business is located. Volunteers who silently pray are equipped with yard signs (e.g., Pray to End Abortion • You don’t have to do this today • We will help you • Ask me about a free ultrasound) and pamphlets for local pregnancy help & post-abortion resources. October 11-12: ‘Godly Girlfriends’ Women’s Conference, Hermon Baptist Church. Guest Speaker: Kristi Stoughton. Friday,
October 11, 6pm-8pm and Saturday, October 12, 9am - 2:30pm. This ladies only, God-focused weekend will fill your cup! We'll learn how to deepen relationships with the women God has put in our lives, navigate the waters of healthy friendships, and consider ways that we can be Godly Girlfriends. Ages 6th grade and up are encouraged to attend! Lunch provided. Snacks and coffee available throughout the conference. Your donation of $10 or more helps us continue to host this conference for free, allowing us to reach as many women as possible with the Gospel and other tools for biblical womanhood. October 12: Discipleship Conference with Dr. Roberts Liardon 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Join The River Church (1184 Highway 102, Bar Harbor) for a day packed with practical teaching on recognizing, following, and accomplishing your God-given call! October 19: Knights of Columbus Spaghetti Dinner to benefit Greater Bangor Area Street Pastors and other organizations they support at 5 PM. Dinner will be held at St. John's Catholic Church, 217 York Street in Bangor in their fellowship hall. Cost is $12 adults/$6 children.
October 19 New England Bible College & Seminary Disciplemaking Event

October 26: Calvary Chapel Southern Aroostook Cure Conference Maine has been grappling with a significant Drug and Alcohol Addiction Crisis.
